Shipping Charges for the United States (Excluding Hawaii and Alaska)
Shipping Charges for delivery by USPS Parcel Post are calculated based on each item’s weight and will be added automatically to each order during checkout. Typical delivery is 5 to 7 business days. See Table 1 for USPS Parcel Post Shipping Charges Automatically Added During Checkout.
Shipping Charges for Alaska and Hawaii
The same USPS Parcel Post Shipping Charges shown in Table 1 apply to all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Faster delivery options shown in Table 2 and Table 3 are not available to these destinations. Typical delivery to Alaska and Hawaii destinations will be 6 to 10 business days.
Shipping Charges for International Delivery Destinations
In addition to the USPS Parcel Post Shipping Charges shown in Table 1 and automatically added to the order during checkout, Additional Shipping Charges must be purchased. Use Table 3 USPS Express Mail, to determine the Additional Shipping Charge based on the total shipping weight of each order. Typical delivery will be 6 to 10 business days. Faster delivery options are not available to International delivery destinations.

Delivery via USPS Priority Mail is available for an Additional Shipping Charge with typical delivery in 3 to 5 business days. In addition to rates shown above in Table 1, the amount shown in Table 2 must be purchased as an Additional Shipping Charge based on the total shipping weight.
Delivery via USPS Express Mail is available for an Additional Shipping Charge with typical delivery in 1 to 2 business days. In addition to rates shown above in Table 1, the amount shown in Table 3 must be purchased as an Additional Shipping Charge based on the total shipping weight. The Additional Shipping Charges shown in Table 3 are required for all shipments to International delivery destinations.

How to Purchase Additional Shipping Charges
Additional Shipping Charges are purchased as a product available on the Purchase Art tab of this website. Select the Category for Shipping Charges and purchase a quantity of Additional Shipping Charges equal to the dollar value of the Additional Shipping Charge as shown in Table 2 for USPS Priority Mail, or Table 3 Express Mail, based on the total shipping weight or the order. Enter the Quantity for Additional Shipping Charges after clicking the Add to Cart button.
EXAMPLE: If the shipping weight of an item is 6 pounds, shipping via USPS Parcel Post is $11, and you must purchase a quantity of 4 Additional Shipping charges ($4) for delivery by Priority Mail as shown in Table 2. For delivery by Express Mail for a 6 pound shipping weight, a quantity of 33 Additional Shipping Charges ($33) must be purchased as shown in Table 3. Remember that these are Additional Shipping Charges and you will still be charged a shipping charge of $11 at checkout for an item with a shipping weight of 6 pounds. You are paying $11 for shipping via USPS Parcel Post plus an Additional Shipping Charge to upgrade your shipment to USPS Priority or Express Mail. The USPS Express Mail Additional Shipping Charge is required for delivery to any International Destination.
Packing, Insurance, and Return Information
Included in the price of each work of art is the cost of all materials and labor required to ship the art. Items in stock are typically shipped from our studio within 24 to 48 business hours after receipt of your order. Some items on loan to museums or art galleries will take longer because they must return to our studio for inspection prior to shipment to you. Items on loan will have a note in the detailed description for that item indicating a longer delivery time.
Cost of insurance for any shipping option is included in the price of each work of art. The cost of insurance cannot be deducted from the price of the art to be purchased. There are no exceptions to this policy because each work of art is a unique item. To replace any work of art lost or damaged during shipment requires starting from scratch to create a replacement. Depending upon the specific work of art, this process could take weeks to months.
Items that must be returned to our studio must be shipped and insured at your expense, and must receive Return Authorization prior to shipment. Items that are damaged in shipment for any reason will not receive a full refund if insurance was not purchased or if the packaging was not adequate to prevent damage during shipment. Items should be returned in the original packaging or comparable packaging. Please contact us prior to shipment for Return Authorization and if you need information on how to package an item.
